About this tool
Structured data is a standard vocabulary (schema.org) that labels the facts on a page: this is a business with this address and phone number; this is an article by this author published on this date; this product costs 199 AED and is in stock. Google uses it for rich results such as review stars, product prices, event dates and business details. AI search systems also use it, along with your visible content, to understand and cite pages.
Rules that keep you safe: only mark up information that is visible on the page, never invent ratings or reviews (Google penalises fake review markup), and validate with Google's Rich Results Test before publishing. Fields marked as required for each type are checked here.
Good to know
- Covers the most common types and properties, not every schema.org option.
- Rich results are never guaranteed; Google decides when to show them.
