Terms of use

The terms for using Toolkeel: free tools provided as is, your responsibility for your content, acceptable use, intellectual property, liability and law.

These terms govern your use of Toolkeel (the "site"), operated by Sole Digital Media. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The site provides free online tools that run in your web browser, plus articles and documentation. We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool or content at any time without notice. There is no account and no guarantee of availability.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the files and text you process ("your content"). Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive, store or license your content. You are solely responsible for your content and for having all rights and permissions needed to use, modify and share it (for example, you must not remove protections from documents you are not authorised to alter, or process others' copyrighted work without permission). Keep backups: tools create new files and never modify your originals, but we are not responsible for lost data.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the site to: break any law or regulation; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; create or distribute unlawful, fraudulent or harmful material (including forged documents or signatures); attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems; interfere with the site (for example automated scraping at a rate that degrades service, or attempts to bypass security controls); or misrepresent your identity. We may block access where we reasonably suspect misuse.

4. No professional advice

Calculators, previews, generators and articles are for general information. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical or other professional advice. See the disclaimer.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, graphics, logo, brand name and original code are owned by Sole Digital Media or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use the tools and share links to pages freely. You may not copy, republish or create derivative websites from our content or design without written permission. Open-source components remain under their own licences (see About and LICENSES.txt). To report infringement, see copyright and takedown.

Third-party names such as Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google and Excel are trademarks of their respective owners. They are mentioned only to describe compatibility or to explain how to do something, and do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of Toolkeel. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.

The site may display third-party advertising and links to other websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all tools and content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Check important results yourself: for example, verify calculations, test printed QR codes and keep originals of any document you change.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sole Digital Media, its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sole Digital Media against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the site, or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sousse, Tunisia, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
