About this tool
These "fonts" are really special Unicode characters that look like styled letters, such as the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block. Because they are characters rather than formatting, they keep their style when pasted into places that do not allow fonts, like Instagram bios and WhatsApp messages.
Use them sparingly. Screen readers often read these characters letter by letter or not at all, and search engines and social platforms may not match them to normal words, so keep important information such as your name and contact details in plain text. Some older devices show empty boxes for characters they do not support.
Good to know
Styles apply to English letters and digits; other characters stay as they are.
Not every style has every character (some have no digits).
May not be readable by screen readers.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get fancy fonts in my Instagram bio?
Type your text here, copy a style and paste it into your bio. It works because the styled letters are Unicode characters.
Why do some characters show as boxes?
The device viewing the text lacks a font for those characters. Most current phones support them.
Are fancy fonts bad for accessibility?
They can be. Screen readers may not read them properly, so use them for decoration and keep key information in normal text.
